Well, it seems that March is a time for new beginnings- Karen and Richard (our managers this summer) raced off to Dunedin on Tuesday and to welcome their baby boy into the world- 6 weeks early!
It sounds like baby Enzo Charlie Beven and Mummy are doing well, albeit a little tired from that surprise grand entrance. We can't wait to meet the wee man.
So, this also means that the Pinfolds are now fast forwarding plans to move back into the lodge! With some frantic rearranging of furniture and a few licks of paint, we should find ourselves fully 'in' by the end of this weekend. We are excited to be back, and have a renewed enthusiasm in Mountain Range.
We have plans to take one of the guest rooms out of operation and create a fabulous new kitchen and enlarge our living space to accommodate our growing family. I will post pics as this is in action!
The other plan/ resolution is to work on our blog (since I see that despite good intentions, Jan and Feb have no posts!)- post lots of pics, reviews and deals and generally keep everyone up to date with what is happening in Wanaka.
